Yangon –Bago – Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Pyay – Bagan – Kalaw – Pindaya-Inle Lake – Kyaing Tong – Yangon  (14 days / 13 nights)

 

Day 01: Yangon arrival & sightseeing (by car)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by Young Top Tycoon Tourism representative and our tour guide. Check in hotel. Yangon sightseeing includes; the Royal Park , one of the most popular green spaces in the downtown area of Yangon. Here you see the glittering Karaweik Barge , a replica of the Royal Bridge and enjoy the view over the lake up to the Shwedagon Pagoda. Visit to the city center with the gilded 2500 years Sule Pagoda.And visit colonial style buildings surrounding Mahabandula Park . Proceed toChaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda to see 70-meters long colossal reclining Buddha. Then drive to stroll through a narrow street of China Town including the short visit to Tao Temple. Then, shortly before sunset, the 107 meters high golden stupa ofShwedagon Pagoda will glitter in the soft light of the early evening.

Day 02: Yangon – Bago – Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive toKyaikhtiyo and on the way Bago sightseeing. Visit to Kyat Khet Wine Monastery, where a thousand monks take their last meal of the day at 10:00 am in total silence. Then continue to Kyaikthiyo, one of Myanmar’s landmark, which is famous for its position and religious importance:Kyaikhtiyo the “Golden Rock “, huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. To reach the pagoda from Kin Pun a steep 11km road leads to the upper staging point by truck. Take a light trekking on the summit through bamboo forest.

Enjoy the sunset beauty on the hill top and overnight at the hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

 

Day 03: Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) – Bago – Pyay (by car)

After breakfast at hotel,in the morning, you will enjoy the beautiful sun rise from pagoda and amazing people praying and offering.same way back to Kinpun. Then about 2 hours drive to Bago. Then proceed to Pyay about 6 hrs.

Check in Hotel and overnight in Pyay.

 

 

 

 

Day 04: Pyay – Akaungtaung – Pyay (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive toHtonebo village. And then, continue to take crusie to Akauktaung. In there, you will explore about the stupasPayagyi & Payma which architecture resembles ancient Indian style, the Srikshetra -an old capital of Pyu kingdom, Hmaw Zar Archaelogical Museum and enjoy sun set fromShwesandaw pagoda for scienic beauty over town and Ayeyarwaddy River. Return back to Pyay and overnight at hotel.

 

 

 

Day 05: Pyay – Bagan (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bagan (350km and round about 9 hrs drive). In the evening, arrive at Bagan. Bagan is the first and most beautiful capital of the Burmese, founded in the eleventh century by a great king. Along with Ankor in Cambodia, this is the most important temple and pagoda complex in Asia.

Check in and overnight at Hotel in Bagan.

 

 

 

Day 06: Bagan fullday sightseeing (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, starts with theNyaung Oo Colorful Local Marketand then visit Shwezigon Pagoda ,its magnificent golden stupa, Wet-Kyi Inn- Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes,Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration. After that, proceed toMyinkaba Village for observing the traditional lacquer ware workshop to explore the process of making unquie Myanmar bowls and trays. And then, Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece of the early- style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Continue to Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, and Dhammayangyi Temple, the most missive temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Day 07: Bagan – Mt.Popa –Kalaw (by car)

If you want to enjoy the fresh feeling of the early morning, you may take part the sunrise view for it.After breakfast at hotel, visit in Mt.Popa, is considered the early font of power for the mystical world of the nats. Climb up Mt.Popa,a perfect place for Eco-tourism, and view the surrounding area. Continue to Kalaw,(216 km), a favorite hill station with ever green Pine trees.

Overnight in Hotel in Kalaw.

 

 

Day 08: Kalaw Trekking (Soft trekking)

After breakfast at hotel, you can trek the surrounding areas of Kalaw, is 1400 m above sea level. For trekking to the two Palaung villages (Ywa Thit & Ta Yaw) about 17 km where you can see the tea plantation on the slope of the hill, long house with serveral families living together, traditional ways of lives and beautiful panoramic views. Return back to Kalaw and explore to the interesting area of Kalaw.

Day 09: Kalaw – Pindaya – Inle (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to the Pindaya, through picturesque scenery.Visit Pindaya cave (where there are countless Buddha images of different types), Pindaya lakes, traditional hand made paper and umbrella making work shops.Then proceed to Nyaung Shwe (92 km) from Pindaya. Check into hotel and overnight.

 

 

 

 

Day 10: Inle Lake (by boat)

After breakfast at hotel, then sightseeing on the lake includesblacksmith and silversmith workshop, floating islands, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method and Silk Weaving. Then visit to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, so called “Jumping cat’s monastery”. Photograph the long neck family on the way back (Padaung Women).

Day 11: Inle Lake –Kyaing Tong (by flight &car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for flight to Kyaing Tong. Arrival in Kyaing Tong, starts with the Maha Myat Muni pagoda, housing Mandalay style Buddha image. Proceed to Shan Tourists who are fond of lacquer ware can purchase desirable lacquer ware of high quality. Then, visit image (the place where Kyaing Tong was founded about one thousand year ago) , Hot spa, Akha R.C.M church. Sunset on the lone tree Hill where a lone, 245 years oldKanyin byu and come back village “Yan Gone” to observe the handicraft eastern pots of Shan Tribe.

Day 12: Kyaing Tong sightseeing (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, take the car about 45 minutes for a hiking tour into the Pin Tauk area. Lush forest with a view to the plain rice fields looking like a huge, green patchwork blanket. Visit the village Enn tribes. Some are haptized, some tribes still animists. The Enn are an ethnic group which tourist particularly interesting labeling them the “Blank Teeth”. The walk is not difficult and can be done slow the higher slopes. They have distinctively different costumes and beliefs from the other tribes. It will take hours to visit the villages.Take lunch at Pin Tauk water-fall. After that, proceed to Wang Kang village and we could see the traditional liquor production and then if we have time, we can start to Wan Ha villageto see the Tiles production but we could see in November to April.

Late afternoon, come back to the hotel and overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day 13: Akha – Lahu – Palaung (Kyaing Tong villages) –Yangon (by Flight and  car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive approx. 45 min to Kong Ma(Akha) village, there is hiking 3 hours to Lahu Shi (KWI)villages. Black Lahu and Red Lahu are the Trekking through forests. Valleys and gorges are very fascinating. After, you come back to Kyaing Tong.In the late afternoon transfer to airport for flight back to Yangon.

Day 14: Yangon Shopping & departure (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, morning stop to take photo in the front of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s house area who got Nobel peace prize in 1991. Shopping atGems mart and Handicraft shops at Bogyoke (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And visitKaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda and drive to Yangon International airport for departure. If time permit on the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and White Elephant camp and departure.
